Article 6 Capacity-Building
OBJECTIVE
Raise awareness and enhance capacities of countries to enable their participation in carbon markets and non-markets mechanisms (Article 6.2 – Cooperative Approaches, Article 6.4 – Sustainable Development Mechanism, Article 6.8 – Non-Market Approaches), to implement clean energy projects.
TARGETS
- Support 15 countries to engage in Article 6 mechanisms through capacity-building
- Develop 10 clean energy projects to be submitted under Article 6.2 and Article 6.4 mechanisms
- Provide partnerships and match-making platform to enhance collaboration under Article 6 mechanisms

Sectoral Climate Action for NDCS and LT-LEDS
OBJECTIVE
Advance climate action in prioritized sectors of countries’ National Determined Contributions (NDCs) and Long-Term Low Emissions Development Strategies (LT-LEDS) such as energy and transport to accelerate the clean energy transition.
TARGETS
- Support 50 countries through sectoral capacity-building
- Develop 15 sectoral projects to be matched with potential funding
- Provide partnerships and match-making platform to enhance sectoral funding & emission-reduction acceleration

National teams, private sector companies engaged in the different sectors
Climate Finance Enablers
OBJECTIVE
Support countries to unlock additional and scaled-up climate finance through enhancing their enabling environment through effective tools & practices, as well as assessing their NDCs & LT-LEDS.
TARGETS
- Support 50 countries through capacity-building and awareness-raising on climate finance enablers
- Develop 10 enabling environment projects to be matched with potential funding
- Provide partnerships and match-making platform to enhance climate finance received for developed countries

Just Energy Transition
OBJECTIVE
Support countries in their clean energy transition through a holistic approach.
TARGETS
- Support 50 countries through capacity-building on the elements of a just transition
- Develop 10 enabling environment projects to be matched with potential funding
- Provide partnerships and match-making platform to accelerate and enable the just energy transition
